Little Trickster

We are finding that as Julianna grows she is turning into our little trickster. She loves to make people laugh and to do silly things. Here's a video I snapped of her pretending to blow her nose. She's actually making the noise with her mouth though but it was too funny!

It's a...

I can't believe we are at the half-way point already with our last baby. It seems like yesterday that I was just finding out I was pregnant with Joshua....oh wait, that wasn't that long ago! LOL
Anyways, as you can tell from the picture above, baby is making more of an appearance now. I am still able to wear most of my normal clothes, especially shirts. The baby belly looks a little bigger in the picture I think because I am wearing a Medium shirt, which is what I normally wear. Baby is a little more hidden if I wear a large. It's funny how somedays it doesn't liik like I am pg and other days it looks like I am definately pg!

We had a doctor's appointment this morning for one of our last routine ultrasounds before baby arrives and we recieved all our pre-registration paperwork today as well to complete within the next two months. Hard to believe that it will be here before we know it. Especially since both the girls were two and three weeks early. Although the due date still stands at December 7th, baby is continually measuring a few days earlier (Dec. 3rd) and so I am banking on a "Turkey Baby" and that baby will arrive somewhere during the week of Thanksgiving or just prior. The picture above is baby's spine - it's estimated that baby weighs about 12 ounces - so almost a pound!

The ultrasound tech also said baby looks to be long and slender, which is a trend with our kids when they are born. Above is the picture of baby's feet. Josh and Jenna thought it was SO neat to see the baby on the "TV". They both wanted to bring baby home though and are having a hard time understanding that we have to wait until after Joshie's birthday to bring baby home.

One of the cool things is that the baby seemed to play "peek-a-boo" while being "filmed" this morning. Josh got the biggest kick out of this and was playing back with baby. We also got to find out the gender too of our newest little addition and it's a.......
BOY!!!!
(Just like God promised! Jayden means God has heard - which is the name we've had since the beginning. God answers all your prayers. It might not be the way you or I want them answered, but He knows best!)

Tea Party

I love having two girls back to back. As they get older, they play more and more together. It's so sweet to watch their personalities develop and their imaginative play take over. Lately Jenna and Julianna have been "cooking" with their play kitchen and having little parties for themselves. Jenna has some play jewelry that has Ariel on it. She has little clip-on earrings, a necklace and a little bracelet. She pretends to be grown up and serve Julianna tea and breakfast.

Julianna of course just likes the food. :) She has a plate of shape desserts (fake of course) in front of her and is enjoying sitting next to her sister. I've noticed she's really enjoying playing with Jenna now instead of trying to "tag along".
Both girls will play for hours with their kitchen and play food items. It's so funny to watch. Of course Pepper, our puppy, is always a frequent guest checking to make sure the samples are really plastic and not some sweet morsel he's missing out on. :)
Here's a little video of Jenna and her excitement with her little fruit and veggie basket we had found at Walmart the other day. Quite a steal for less than $5!

Five Years....and counting

Today is the mark of our five years together as "Jason & Jaime". It's been a FULL, busy five years that has involved moving halfway across the U.S.; having three (almost four) kids; moving twice; incorperating two dogs into the family; and countless blessings along the way.

We've covered numerous miles too - traveling from So. Cal to Texas a total of of 2 round trips and one looooong move out here. We've driven to Tulsa, OK twice and to Dallas, TX countless times for work.

We've driven long on the road of life too, experienced a lot in the first five years that often gives the illusion we've been married longer. We've endured the storms of life together and rejoiced in the sunshine together. We've learned to love, laugh and cry together.

Marriage is said to be one of the hardest things as society tells us its expendable and replaceable. But it's not. You can do it, and it's worth it....

Here's a collection of pictures of the road we've traveled the past five years and the memories we've created together.

15-monther....

This has become one of my favorite "seasons" as a parent. Jason and I have three toddlers and although at times it can be challenging, it's rewards far outweigh the bumps.

Julianna is our youngest, and turned 15-months old on July 1st. I used to think that it was at 15 YEARS old that one "knows everything"....but I am starting to second guess that theory as I watch my "wanting to be too independent" daughter. She might be only a baby in our eyes, and everyone else's, but she's determinded to be bigger and older than she is. Here are some things she is doing that her brother and sister didn't even think about doing at this age....

Climbing into dolly cribs

Trying to wash her clothes in the doggy's water

Playing dress-up

She is so much fun though as she adores her big brother, and he of course adores her. He protects her and she follows him around. I am so proud of him as he will always look out for his sisters.
