33 weeks with #4 feels a lot like 39 weeks with #1. You're tired and "ready". Your whole body is sore from an average day's work and there's just "no room"! Technically I have 7 weeks left until the due date, but considering that the last two were two and three weeks early (and still weighed in at over 7 lbs), I am looking forward to only about 4 weeks. Don't get me wrong - I don't want to rush him into arriving too early, or be unhealthy, but I also know that God knows more than any "biological" time clock does and he will arrive perfectly on time.
So what's new with Baby Jayden? Well, besides the fact that I am awake almost every night at 2am due to tightness, baby moving in awkward positions, or needing to use the restroom, he's developing perfectly and Dr. says he will be perfect when he arrives. He takes up every cubic centimeter of space in my abdomen and likes to poke his little knees against my ribs, which can be quite uncomfortable. I am about 1 cm dialated already, so I try to take it easy as little things like laundry can set off contractions. As you can see from the video below, he's a mover! (oh, and those are hiccups he has!)
The other kids are anxiously awaiting their baby brother's arrival and ask constantly if its time for him to be born. Josh likes to lay against my tummy and talk to his brother. I think he's the most excited. He informed Jason and I a couple weeks ago that we need to have 6 kids. I told him, "I don't think so" and that mommy and daddy were happy with 4.
We can't wait to meet our little promise, but all in god's perfect timing! Another update on baby Jayden in a couple weeks :)
