When trying to get a 3-year old to take a nap, one has to be quite craft and stealth in getting this feat accomplished. Especially when your 3-year old likes to get out of his room to play with his 2-year old sister who is also supposed to be sleeping.

If you hear a door close, go upstairs to immediately inspect. Do not panic as you will most likely find the older sibling in the younger sibling's room.

On occasion you might also find the older sibling running back to his room with a handful of Hot Wheels to play with in his room on his "street rug"

Always bring your camera with you as you will always find something amusing. For example, today Joshie was discovered in the bathroom with a half bottle of hair gel in his hair and trying to spike his hair.....

"I Don't Think So!"

The funny thing about having Josh and Jenna so close in age is that even though they aren't twins, they act like it. They know what the other one thinks and they often times can "read" each other's mind. It's funny because they are a perfect complement. Josh is very verbal and a "fix-it" thinker, while Jenna is a problem solver and the creative one. Joshie is like a mini-Jason, and Jenna is like a mini-me.

In this video, I caught Josh in his room with Jenna (both were supposed to have been sleeping), and getting into mischief. Josh has emptied all the clothes out of the plastic bin and is trying to convince Jenna to get into the box so that he can close the lid. Don't worry, it's not air tight and I was watching the whole time.... Jenna's not dumb...she knows EXACTLY what Josh is up to!!
